SUNY Oswego’s Small Business Development Center hosts a “Business in Bloom” workshop series. OSWEGO, New York - - January 20, 2012 – SUNY Oswego’s SBDC and The Greater Parish Chamber of Commerce will host a “Business in Bloom” workshop series. The workshops will be led by Chena Tucker, Business Advisor for the SUNY Oswego SBDC. The first workshop in the Business in Bloom series is “Creative Marketing” and will be held on February 14th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. The “Creative Marketing” workshop will cover best business practices on marketing, classic marketing, social media and guerilla marketing. The second workshop in the series is “Customer Service 101”and will be held on March 13th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. In this workshop we will discuss the significance of good customer service and how it relates to the success of every business. The last of the series is “E-Commerce: The Online Advantage” and will be held on April 10th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. In this workshop we will address the changing global market and the importance of having an online presence. The Business in Bloom workshop series will be held at the Grist Mill Restaurant located at 3039 County Route 26 in Parish New York. The cost is $5:00 per workshop and pre-registration is required.
