The members of the Friends of the Parish Public Library were pleased to recognize Maureen Newman, the Valedictorian of the APW 2009 graduating class, for her dedicated years of volunteering at the Parish Public Library. Maureen began her “work” at the library when she was in the 7th grade. A check was presented to her with thanks from the entire Library Staff and “the Friends”. We all wish Maureen good luck as she enters the Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute.
