Kevin E. Sheridan PhD from the
Public Archaeology Facility at
Binghamton University is searching for clues to the past at the
Parish
Public Library.
Working
with Dr. Sheridan (orange shirt) are Leila Joyce (scarf), Laura Klingman
(yellow/black checked shirt), and Matt Lipiccolo (white shirt).
The NYSDOT is the link to this endeavor. The Parish State Route 69 road project through the village of Parish will take place in 2010. There is some thought of moving Canfield Park over to the front of the Parish Public Library and having Church Street come out as a "T" intersection. There is a lot to consider in such a move.
